India and Bangladesh will be organizing a joint military exercise, ‘Exercise Sampriti 2019’ at Tangail, Bangladesh.
Exercise Sampriti 2019 is the 8th ediition and is scheduled from 2nd March to 15th March 2019. It is hosted alternately by both countries.
Exercise Sampriti 2019 is aimed to strengthen and broaden the aspects of interoperability and cooperation between the Indian and Bangladesh Armies.
Exercise Sampriti 2019 will involve tactical level operations in a counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism environment under the mandate of the United Nations.
Exercise Sampriti 2019 also aims is to build, strengthen and promote positive relations between the Armies of India and Bangladesh.
