Asadharan Aashuchan Padak for Intelligence and Security personnel eligibility, special features, timing
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs constitutes a new Padak the Asadharan Aashuchan Padak for exceptional services offerings from security agencies coming under the operations.
The Asadharan Aashuchan Padak will be given to officials of Intelligence organization of Central Government and Intelligence Dept./wings/Special Branches/Units of all State/UT Police, CPOs, CAPFs, Assam Rifles (AR) and National Security Guard (NSG) for acts of exceptional courage and skill in intelligence gathering.
The Asadharan Aashuchan Padak covers intelligence and armed police departments for their services in special security operations and keeping the country safe from foreign and internal security threats.
The Asadharan Aashuchan Padak will be awarded on 15th August (Independence Day) annually. There is no limit or quota (reservation) for awarding Asadharan Aashuchan Padak.
