The Central Railway Ministry has launched the UTS (Unregistered Ticketing System) Mobile App for the passengers, to get rid of long lines for tickets.
Through this app, the passenger can book tickets on his Android mobile.
With this app, unexpected tickets, season tickets and platform tickets can be booked.
Now passengers will not need to stand in long queues for tickets.
This ticket will be paperless.
This will not waste the paper, while the environment will also be encouraged.
From this, platform tickets, unreserved tickets and monthly passes can also be made.
This app will get rid of the long line on the ticket window.
Without ticket papers, the environment will be promoted.
This app will not require internet to show tickets to TTE.
This service is cashless. Tickets will be booked from digital payment only.
The long-distance train will also be booked for unreserved (general) tickets.
Tickets can also be booked from Rail Wallet, Debit, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI or e-Wallet.
The advantage of this feature can be picked up by 'UTS Mobile App', this app is available on Android, iOS and Windows Store.
The consumer has to download this mobile app and register for the app.
After registration, the user will be given a user-id and password, by which the user can log in.
Through this app, the book ticket will remain valid for up to three hours before the scheduled time of the train.
Book tickets will not be valid before three hours. This app will work through GPS.
Tickets through the app will be booked within a 20-30 meter radius of the railway station.
When TT tickets come for a check, UTS will be able to show their travel tickets by going to the show ticket option in the mobile app.
