A brief about her Early life and Education
Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was born on 3 March 2000 in the kohli Village of Gurdaspur disrict , Punjab.
Her parents are Pritampal Singh Sandhu and Rabinder kaur Sandhu and an elder brother Harnoor.
Her father is a realtor and her mother is a gynecologist.She belongs to a Jat family.
She pursued her early education from Shivalik Public School and Post Graduation from a government college both in Chandigarh.
Before becoming to Miss Universe , She was pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administraion.
Winning Titles and the Backstage stories
Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was the third lady from India to be crowned as Miss Universe 2021.
Earlier , Lara Dutta (2000) and Sushmita Sen (1994) had won the titles of Miss Universe.
Sandhu entered in this field from her teenage.
She has won the titles of Miss Chandigarh 2017 and Miss Max Emerging Star India 2008.
Sandhu was also crowned with the title of Femina Miss India Punjab in 2019
and in Femina Miss India ,she was placed in the top20 list.
The other titles she won were , Miss Diva 2021 , Miss Beautiful skin ,Miss Beach Body ,Miss Beautiful Smile ,
Miss photogenic, and Miss Talented.
Miss Universe 2021
After winning Miss Diva 2021, Sandhu represented India at Miss Universe 2021.
The competition was held on 12 December 2021 in Eilat, Israel.
And she beautifully emerged out as a winner.
Her winning statement was:
The biggest pressure the youth is facing today is to believe in themselves,to know that you are unique, and that's what makes you beautiful.Stop comparing yourself with others ,
