Rs 100 coin dedicated to Superstar Bharat Ratna Dr. MG Ramachandran Feature Design Detail
The Reserve bank of India (RBI) comes with a notification to roll out Rs. 100 coins first time in the market dedicated to superstar Tamil Nadu ex-Chief Minister Bhart Ratna Dr. MG Ramchandran on his birth centenary 1917 to 2017.
Features of Rs. 100 coins
- The front side of Rs 100 coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka pillar in the center.
- The legend Satyamev Jayate to be inscribed below the pillar.
- The coins shall be bear On the left periphery of the coin Bharat in Devanagari script and the right periphery with the word India in English.
- The coin shall also bear the Rupee symbol and the denominational value 100 below the Lion Capitol nation symbol.
Features of Dr. MG Ramachandran Rs. 100 coin
- The face of the coin shall bear the portrait of MG Ramachandran in the center.
- Dr. MG Ramchandran to be inscribed on the upper periphery.
- Dr. Ramchandran Bith Centenary in English on the lower periphery of the coin.
- The year 1917 to 2017 in international numerals to appears at the bottom of MG Ramachandran portrait on the coin.
