UNESCO encouraging World Book Day 2021 as a great tool for isolation in the view of the Coronavirus pandemic. Books have become powerful tools to tackle loneliness and stimulate our minds.
According to UNESCO, "In some countries, the number of books read has doubled." This is a great achievement in the age of electronic gadgets and smartphones.
World Book and Copyright Day is a celebration of books and libraries across the globe. UNESCO decided to celebrate 23 April as World Book Day first time in 1995 on the occasion of the birth or death anniversary of great writers from Europe.
UNESCO promotes World Book DAY annually among member nations.
