The Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy Abbreviated as AYUSH is a Governmental Body in India aims to develop education and Research in Ayurveda Yoga.
1. Ministry of AYUSH setup in India for the purpose of developing, education and research in Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy, Sowa-Rigpa and other indigenous medicine systems.
2. The Department of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISM&H) was Created in March 1995.
3. This department was also renamed AYUSH in March 2003.
4. The Ministry of AYUSH was formed with effect from 9th November 2014 by elevation of the Department of AYUSH.
