Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) developed the cheap water antiviral system Oneer and Features of Onyer

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow has developed an innovative technology 'Drinking Water Disinfection System' under the trademark 'Oneer'.

This technology was transferred to the M / s Bluebird Water Purifier, New Delhi in the presence of Union Minister of Science and Technology and Dr. Harshvardhan, Vice President of CSIR.

This system provides continuous treatment of water and destroys disease-causing bacteria, viruses, fungus, protozoa, cyst etc. in order to ensure safe and safe drinking water for domestic and community drinking water (by BIS, WHO etc.) according to national and international standards Can be made available.

Features of Oneer

The incidence of deformity and death due to infection through drinking water is increasing especially in children.

Onyer developed by CSIR-IITR will provide safe and clean drinking water only at the rate of 2 paise per liter.

The capacity of the community level model is 450 LPH, which can be increased from 5,000 to 1 lac liters per day.

Also, the cost of membrane or maintenance does not have to be borne.

This technology will prove to be very helpful especially for the people of the rural areas because it can be powered by solar energy and its development has been done under the 'Make in India' mission. Oneer has a small device that is especially suitable for homes, rehearsals and small establishments.
