India will host AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in New Delhi: Details, Schedule, Highlights

AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships will be hosted by India in New Delhi.

AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships is scheduled to be held from 13-25 November 2018

In AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships, all the participating countries will arrive in New Delhi before 13 November 2018. The competition will start on 15th of November 2018.

AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships was last held in India in 2006 and India made its best-ever performance that year. India had topped the medal tally with 4 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medal.

The first edition of AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships was held in Scranton, Unites States in 2001

Also, AIBA Executive Committee unanimously awarded the 2019 women's World Championships to Trabzon, Turkey. The AIBA 2018 Congress was awarded to the Russian capital city of Moscow.
