PM Narendra Modi's ambitious GIFT in Gujarat for Make In India
PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate Gujarat International Tec-city on 9th January 2017 under Make In India intiative
Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate Gujarat International finance Tec-city 9th January where BSI would start trading.
Gujarat International Financial Tec-city is an under-construction district between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
GIFT aims to provide high quality physical infrastructure facilities like roads, telecom, electricity etc.
It will also have special economic zone, International education centre, hotels, entertainment zone, international techno park, shopping malls, Software Technology Parks of India etc.
The idea of GIFT was developed during Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor Summit 2007 and is planned by East China Architectural Design and Research Institute.
The different landmarks between the areas is GIFT Diamond Tower, GIFT Gateway tower, GIFT crystal tower, GIFT convention tower and World Trade Centre, GIFT city.
