Research: Toddlers learn new words same as Humanoid Robots
Study conducted with Humanoid robots to know the learning ability of toddlers
In a new research it has been found that toddlers learn new words by the same method as robots.
This research was conducted by programming a humanoid robot known as iCub which is modified with the software which can hear words through a microphone and a camera.
The robot was pointed at certain objects and trained it to identify the objects and after sometime it was found that the robot learned new words exactly the same as the toddler does.
Toddlers learn new words and absorb information with the help of colour
Robot learned new words as it has been shown toys of different colours and one brand new toy and it was also found that toddlers learn words with the help of the colour of toys.
This is due to the powerful ability to identify things and absorb the information.
