Swachh Bharat: Google Toilet Locator app for google map in India
Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation M.Venkaiah Naidu launches Google Toilet Locator app under Swachh Bharat mission
Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has collaborated with Google to launch this Google Toilet Locator Maps app.
This is the further move to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Digital India.
The Government has launched the app to ease the pain of finding toilets in the country.
For the first time, the app will locate public toilets in New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh region
The Government agencies have been able to locate 2 lakh units and are also going to include public toilets too.
Currently, there are 4000 toilets that are displayed on the Google Maps regarding public toilets searched from Android or iOS.
