Ministry of Textile establishing Bunkar Mitra Helpline Centre



The Ministry of Textile establishing Handloom Helpline Centre Bunkar Mitra for professional queries

The weavers can get the professional queries which will be answered by the experts in the respective field.

The helpline centre will function from 10 am to 6 pm and initially it will be provided in six languages like Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali and Assamese.

Currently 28 weaver’s centres are functioning across the country to provide assistance to handloom weavers so that they can improve their skills

The weavers can also personally visit Weavers Service Centres and seek solutions for their issues or problems.

M/s MSD P. Ltd, Bhopal has been selected as an agency for providing Handloom Helpline Centre.

A period of 30 days has been given for making entire installation and set-up call centre and to make it operative.
