Prime Minister Narendra Modi hold a Valedictory Session of Assistant Secretariat IAS Officers 2014 batch
In this session IAS officers of 2014 batch presented 8 presentations relating to various governance themes.
These themes include DBT, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, E-Courts, Tourism, Health and Satellite Applications.
In the session, PM reviewed the various presentations shown by the officers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the combination of IAS officers with the Union Government has been visualized as the mixture of youth and experience which will yield best results.
PM Modi also requested the officers to teach team spirit and work towards breaking silos in whatever capacity they like.
Narendra Modi also advised the officers the two touchstones they should use which will help them in decision making.
Firstly, the decisions should never be counter to national interest and secondly the decisions should not harm the poor people of the country.
