Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief at the sudden Demise of former Minister Jayawantiben Mehta.
Mehta was the former Union Minister of State for Coal and Power in BJP and passed away on Monday 7th November 2016.
The last ride takes at Shivaji Park crematorium at 5:30 p.m.
Jayawantiben Mehta was the Minister of State in Atal Bihari vajpayee cabinet in 1999.
She rose on BJP ranks to become a corporator, an MLA and later a Lok Sabha Member succeeding late Murli Deora from South Mumbai Constituency.
PM Narendra Modi stated that saddened by the demise of Jayawantiben Mehta and we remember the rich contribution and condolence to her family.
