NITI Aayog Released SATH-E Roadmaps for School Education- Details, features, purpose

The NITI Aayog has released comprehensive roadmaps and detailed timelines for its initiative 'Sustainable Action for Transforming Human Capital in Education “SATH-E” project on 17th March 2018 in New Delhi.

The NITI Aayog’s new roadmaps are aimed to introduce ‘System-wide Governance Transformation’ in school education.

The SATH-E project main aim is to promote & strength Vocational Education, Skill Development, Teacher Training and devising Modern Technology in the classrooms.

The SATH-E project will also promote data-driven analysis to strengthen academic monitoring across schools in the country.

The roadmaps will be operated between the years 2018 to 2020. They lay out detailed interventions to be taken by three participating states which include Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh & Odisha and will be ‘Role Model States’ in school education.

The roadmaps will present first ever customised, action-oriented programmes, outlining interventions at individual, district and State level.

The roadmaps were prepared by NITI Aayog, in collaboration with three participating states and knowledge partners of SATH Initiative, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Piramal Foundation For Education Leadership (PFEL).
