PM Narendra Modi to join first-ever in-person Quad Summit on 24th September, hosted by Joe Biden
Building Resilience through Hope to recover from Covid-19, Rebuild sustainably, Respond to the needs of the planet, Respect the right of people and Revitalise the United Nations, is the theme for debate.
Biden is looking forward to welcoming Scott Marrison pm of Australia, Yoshihide Suga pm of Japan, and Narendra Modi PM of India to the White House on September 24 for the first-ever in-person Quad summits.
Quadrilateral Security Discussion (DSG) member countries continue a strategic dialogue through bilateral talks as part of the DSG, commonly known as "The Quad".
Premier Modi will attend the Quad meeting and deliver a speech to the United Nations General Assembly during his September 23-25 visit to Washington, DC.
When it comes to the current attempts to control a covid-19 pandemic, Modi will evaluate the Quad vaccination program, announced in March of this year, as well as the Afghanistan situation. Also, the agenda will be emerging technologies, connectivity and infrastructure concerns, cyber security and marine safety as well as disaster relief, education, and humanitarian aid and disaster relief.
