The TV channel DigiShala and a website cashlessindia.gov.in aims to spread awareness among the citizens about digital transactions.
The TV Channel DigiShala launched by Ministry of Electronics, Ravi Shankar Prasad and PP Chaudhary and others.
The website has been launched as citizens were facing problems after demonetisation as the government wants to move towards cashless economy.
The channel and the website can be used in future for educating people about new moves, schemes of the government under Digital India initiative.
In the website, information regarding different modes of payment has been provided.
The different modes of payment are Banking cards, USSD, AEPS, UPI, Mobile Wallets, Internet Baking, Mobile Banking etc.
