Ashok Vihar Delhi's first town to spring up in cyberspace

 

 

Residents' Welfare Association(RWA) developed an online platform to make Ashok Vihar first digital town

North West Delhi's Ashok Vihar is all set to become the first digital town of the national capital as Residents' Welfare Association (RWA) has developed an online platform where one can access information about the house numbers, surnames, and telephone numbers of residents. 

The online portal cum mobile application will be launched by the Minister of the Science and Technology, Environment, Forest and Climate change and Earth Sciences Harsh Vardhan on August 5 for the area that has four phases, 45 RWAs, and 1.5 lakh population. 

The portal will carry information about hospitals, schools, coaching centers, travel agencies, bars, restaurants, grocery shops, gyms, temples, community centers, offices, helpline number of government agencies, and markets with available discounts and special offers. 

Moreover, The website will have sections where users can easily find links to all the Government organizations such as the Central Government, the Municipal Corporations of Delhi, the Delhi Government Authority, the Delhi Jal Board, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and the passport authority.
