Skill upgrade programme at Indian Railways Project Saksham for Indian Railways employees features, training plan, vision, and Mission

Indian Railways employees from their areas of expertise and zone will get one week skill and knowledge development training for over next one year.

This is General Manager's responsibility to plan the training programme under Project Saksham for their subordinates in respective zones.

To complete the plan for a calendar year under Project Saksham, final date is fixed by 31st December 2017 to cover all employees training.

Project Saksham is planned to keep the growth of Indian Railways network, new trains, and another customer centric high-quality services.

The nature of training will decide for the behavior of training for employees at Indian Railways. This could be classroom or onsite training under the project Saksham.

Project Saksham training planned to be completed within 9 months. Each zone of Indian Railway will devise a few metrics to monitor the impact of Project Saksham.
