Jhulan Nishit Goswami is an Indian national women’s cricket team Right-arm pace bowler.
Jhulan Goswami became the first woman cricketer in the world to achieve 200 wickets in One Day Internationals (ODI) cricket on 7th February 2018.
Jhulan Goswami, a 35-year-old Indian pacer achieved the feat while playing in her 166th ODI match against South Africa of the three-match series at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley, South Africa.
Jhulan Goswami prior to this achievement had also become the leading wicket-taker in women's ODI in May 2017, overtaking former Australian pacer Cathryn Fitzpatrick's record of 180 wickets.
Jhulan Goswami also captained Indian Women's National Cricket Team from 2008 to 2011.
Jhulan Goswami is the proud recipient of various National and International honorable awards for her distinguished work as a sports person which includes, Arjuna Award (2010), Padma Shri (2012), ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year (2007), Award for the Fastest bowler.
