Prime Minister Narendra Modi firstly greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and said that India is the only country where we celebrate festivals in all 365 days.
He stated that Diwali ends all the darkness from our life and moves towards lightness.
Diwali is associated with cleanliness therefore everyone cleans their houses to welcome Goddess Lakshmi to their homes.
He stated that according to the present scenario, everyone just not need to clean only their homes but also their locality, district and the country.
He also glorifies the courage of the armed forces of India for their sacrifice and celebrates Diwali by sending them greetings.
He also stated the Indian soldiers without any return or any fear serves the country as a whole and protects us from enemies.
He also pays tribute to Guru Nanak during Mann ki Baat programme.
