Prime Minister Narendra Modi inducts War Memorial at Bhopal dedicated to Jawans of Indian Armed Forces at Shaurya Smarak
Narendra Modi aforesaid at the inauguration of Shaurya Smaarak, Bhopal that the first image of a soldier may be that of a uniformed person with bloodshot eyes, carrying weapons and looking for enemies ,but the same soldier has a very benevolent face too.
Ex-service men were present in heaps at the public meeting.
He praised armed forces for rescuing the public in floods of 2013 and 2014
He said that be it the Uttrakhand floods of 2013 or Kashmir floods of 2014,the Indian Armed forces did an admirable job ,without even contemplating that the same people of Kashmir lapidated stones at them which could even have been catastrophic.
He further added that India is one of the biggest benefactor to UN peacekeeping forces and the clout of the Indian Army is morale of its Jawans which comes from the backing of 125 crore Indians and also announced that government has pronounced to give skill development training to soldiers in last year of service so that they don’t have to skirmish for jobs.
