India and Singapore PM Lee Hsien Loong step up Tech cooperation

The Memorandum of Understanding will be signed at the upcoming official state visit of Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to India from 4 to 7 October, 2016.

Union Cabinet approves Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Singapore step up to Innovation, Creativity and Technological Advancement

Union Cabit and Singapore Prime Minister to give green signal to the memorandum during Primie Minister's visit to India starting from 4th October 2016.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to sign between India's Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).

¤ The Memorandum of Understanding enhance two sides cooperation activities in Industrial Property Rights of Patents, Trademarks and Industrial Designs.

¤ It is set up to creativity, innovation and technological advancement in both regions in South Asia AND South East Asia.

The Memorandum of Understanding facilitate exchange of best practices, experiences and knowledge on IP awareness among the public, educational institutions and businesses of both countries.

¤ It also facilitates exchange of best practices, experiences and knowledge on IP with industry, universities, R&D organizations and Small and Medium Enterprises.

¤ It enhances cooperation in the development of automation and implementation of modern projects.
