Environmental changes affect India $79.5 billion dollars in the last twenty years. United Nations has given the report of duration 1998-2017. United Nations has created one department for a reduction in natural calamities.
As per UN report, 151% increment in the loss of economy due to natural calamities. During this period the entire world has lost $2245 billion dollars. This is more than double the losses incurred over the last two decades. The risk is kept on increasing due to environmental changes. From 1978 to 1997, $895 billion dollars lost by World because of environmental changes.
America $944.8 billion dollars, China $492.2 billion dollars and Japan $376.3 billion dollars lost during this period of time. European countries are on the top three positions of losing money in Flood, Earthquake. Italy, Germany, and France lost $56.6, $57.7, and $48.3 billion dollar respectively.
