Indian Army to get approx one month salary as a bonus this Diwali, will sanction arrears
The government is likely to sanction payment of arrears up to 10% including dearness allowance which means approx. one month salary to be given as interim relief to the Indian Army.
The revised pay scale will be paid on the basis of arrears calculated as on January 2016 and will be adjusted in calculating the final arrears on revised pay scale.
Diwali Bonus likely to be paid till 30th October
Earlier, the armed forces were disappointed when the Government announced that the soldiers will not get bonus of festive season until the issues are resolved.
Till now they have not been paid the arrears nor have issued a revised pay scale.
The government wanted to resolve the pay and pension issue first and then wanted to issue bonus to the army.
But now till 30th October 2016, government will likely pay bonus to the army forces.
Indian Army will get one month salary bonus in this festive season by 30th October.
