Bangladesh wins Subroto cup 2018, at the Ambedkar stadium in New Delhi
In the 59th edition of junior boys, Subroto cup International Football tournament Bangladesh Krida Shiksha Prothishtan (BKSP) beats Amini school, Afganistan by a solitary goal at the Ambedkar stadium in New Delhi.
In the match, Habibur is the player who scored an all-important goal in 11th minute.
This tournament is organised at a vast level making it one of the biggest tournaments in its category in the entire football world where 95 teams and 1500 players participated.
During the ceremony, Sonia Lather silver medal winner in AIBA in women's world boxing championship become the guest of honour.
There were many awards in the 59th edition of Subroto cup some of them are :
Pranab Limboo of Govt senior secondary school, Namchi get the best goalkeeper award.
Mohd. Neil of Reliance Foundation school gets the best player award.
Raghu Kumar of Army boys sports company gets the best coach award.
Fair play trophy goes to Reliance Foundation school, Mumbai.
