The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on 23rd May 2018, has given its approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between India and Denmark.
The MoU between India-Denmark was signed on 16th April 2018 to show cooperation in the areas of food safety.
India and Denmark MoU will help strength bilateral ties, mutual understanding and trust, eventually boosting both sides in their capacity building efforts towards food safety.
The MoU will also promote understanding of the best practices in the areas of food safety in both countries and in faster resolution of issues related to food safety.
The MoU will also help to improve food safety standard setting by getting access to best practices and facilitating food trade of important commodities.
