TSR Subrahmanyam Committee recomendations for fight against climate change

 

 

Indian State Forest Departments meeting at Vigyan Bhawan to fight against the Climate Change

The two-day conference of the State's Environment and Forests Ministers in the Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi in April 2015.

In this two-day conference, 30 ministers of different states participated in this, including various issues such as waste from the trash, making the business easier, recommendations of the TSR Subrahmanyam Committee, forest, wildlife, pollution-related issues, biodiversity and climate A wide range of changes were discussed.

To clear the waste of the generator, and to arrange for door-to-door storage of different solid waste in all urban areas within two years, and to arrange waste for the waste processing and to recycle waste.
Ensure to make a compulsory plan for recycling units of waste in industrial areas/ zones/clusters.

Provide public health storage and disposal facility with other states for hazardous waste. To properly define the responsibility of the producers to implement plastic waste management and e-waste management strictly.

The State Forest Department has to assess the population of species with fairness and carefully consider population management options.
According to the guidelines of Green India Mission (GIM), committees will be formed at the State, District and Cluster level within three months.
