1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan at Ramnagar, Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day-24th April 2018.

2. World Malaria Day will be observed on 25th April 2018 with the theme ' Ready To Beat Malaria'.

3. The Indian Culinary Institute (ICI) and Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 24th April 2018 in New Delhi.

4. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will conduct a drill exercise on earthquake preparedness in three North Eastern States including Tripura, Nagaland, Mizoram on April 26, 2018. 

5. Jailed Egyptian photojournalist Mahmoud Abu Zeid, popularly known as Shawkan, will be awarded United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) with World Press Freedom Prize for the year 2018.

6. According to recently released Migration and Development Brief by World Bank, India has retained the top position as recipient of remittances with about $69 billion in 2017 and was followed by China ($64 billion), Philippines ($33 billion), Mexico ($31 billion), Nigeria ($22 billion) and Egypt ($20 billion in the year 2017. 

7. Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has allowed six-decade-old protected area permit (PAP) regime to allow foreign tourists to access border areas of Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur for 5 years with effect from 1st April 2018, with protected area permit (PAP).

8. Chennai based Geographical Indication Registry has awarded Geographical Indication (GI) Tag to two more craft forms from Telangana namely Adilabad dokra and Warangal Dhurries.

9. The US President Donald Trump administration is working on proposals to streamline the H1-B visa procedure, the most sought-after by Indian IT professionals, to focus on attracting the best and the brightest foreign talents, according to a top federal agency official. 

10.  Lalit Kala Akademi organised the award ceremony of the '1st Print Biennale India 2018 (PBI) in New Delhi.
