The United Arab Emirates (UAE) honored PM Narendra Modi with its highest civil decoration, 'Zayed Medal' on 4th April 2019.
The UAE's Zayed Medal honor has been bestowed on PM Narendra Modi for his contribution towards boosting the relations between the two nations.
UAE said that the two nations have historical and comprehensive strategic ties which have been reinforced by the pivotal role of Indian PM Narendra Modi.
Zayed Medal honor is the highest civil decoration of the country which is awarded to presidents, kings, and heads of states.
Zayed Medal honor has previously been conferred on the leaders of several countries including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Queen of the United Kingdom Elizabeth II.
