Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana details, features, and efficacy 

Employees State Insurance (ESI) has approved a scheme called Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana' for insured persons (IP) covered under the Employees State Insurance Act 1948. Under this, cash assured will be available on the unemployed of the insured persons.

ESI Corporation has also approved the proposal to grant concessions in qualifying situations to avail super specialty treatment, in which the first two years of insurable employment period has been reduced to six months and only 78 days contribution Will be required.

ESI Corporation has approved the proposal to increase the funeral expenses to be paid on the death of the insured persons and increase it from the current Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000.
