Indian Air Force launches its first mobile health app 'Medwatch', Introduction, features, & details
Keeping in view the dream of Prime Minister about 'Digital India, Ayushman Bharat and Mission Indrabhudhash', on the 86th anniversary of the Indian Air Force, a mobile health app called 'Medwatch' has been launched.
This app is conceived by the Indian Air Force physicians and it has been developed in the country by the Directorate of Information Technology at a very low cost.
Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal B. s. Dhanoa PVMSM AVSM YSM VM ADC launches on Air Force Day on 08 October 2018.
From 'Medwatch' the air force personnel and all the citizens of the country will have accurate and scientific and reliable details about health.
This app is available at www.apps.mgov.gov.in and provides basic first aid, health-related issues, and details based on nutritious food, timely health review, disease prevention, and health record card, BMI calculator, helpline numbers and web Includes useful mediums like links.
'Medwatch' is the first mobile health app in all three Armed Forces.
MedWatch Mobile Health App is a small contribution to our citizens as well as being an initiative of the Indian Air Force.
