PM Narendra Modi will be launching the Kisan Man Dhan Yojana (KMDY) scheme on 12th September 2019 in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The Kisan Man Dhan Yojana (KMDY) scheme's main aim is to protect & secure the lives of 5 crore small and economical weak farmers by providing a minimum pension worth Rs 3000 each month, to those who attain 60 years of age.
Under the Kisan Man Dhan Yojana (KMDY) scheme, the Modi government has allotted funds of worth Rs 10,774 crores for the next 3 years.
Under the Kisan Man Dhan Yojana (KMDY) scheme, all the small and marginal farmers, who are currently between the age of 18-40 years, can apply for the scheme.
Applicant farmer’s monthly contribution can be made from the installments of PM-KISAN or through CSCs.
PM Narendra Modi will also be launching 400 Ekalvya Model Residential Schools during his visit to Jharkhand.
Also, he will be inaugurating the new Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha Building and laying the foundation stone of the new Secretariat building at Ranchi.
