Indian Air Force successful trial of 'Astra' armed air-to-air missile from Sukhoi

 

 

Indian Air Force to have air-to-air ballistic missile 'Astra' from Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft series 

Air Force achieved a huge feat, successfully test-fired air-to-air ballistic missile Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft on September 26, 2018. This missile is capable of hitting the front of the vision front.

The success of this test is being considered as very important because being a part of the final phase tests before being included in the army. The Armed missile has been developed only in the country.

Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman appreciated the efforts of the Indian Air Force, DRDO and allied team members who were involved in this mission. He said that in the indigenous design and development of an advanced weapon system, India has achieved high-level capacity.

The Air Force tested the missile from its Kalaikunda station and the missile has an accurate target on the floating in the air.
This missile is superior in its range of weapon systems and has been tested for more than 20 tests.
The missile successfully targeted with high firepower, which caters to the mission's mission.
In the trials so far, the weapon has been fully fired by Sukhoi SU-30 aircraft.

The plane test is so important because it was part of the final test before being included in the defense fleet.
