Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) is a decentralized government agency under Government of India. CACP was established on 8th January 1965 as the Agricultural Prices Commission later became Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices in 1985.

CACP is attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. CACP headquarter is in New Delhi.

Prof. Vipul Paul Sharma is the chairman of Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP). Dr. Shilja Sharma is the member Secretary of the commission.

The main objective of CACP is to work on various formulas for deciding the prices of the crops Minimum Support Price (MSP) against costs involved in agriculture.

CACP considers fertilizers, agricultural types of equipment, labor, unpaid family member labor and sum involved in the cultivated land to decide the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops of the season.
