World Bank and Asian Development Bank to provide aid to India to shift away from coal for energy purpose.
According to this scheme, the lenders will facilitate countries to adopt super critical and ultra-super critical (USC) of plant technology.
This will help to reduce the emissions of coal and can achieve the target of Intended Nationally of Determined Contributions.
Even if the countries move towards renewable energy they cannot do with coal in overall mix.
The countries can also invest in sub-critical thermal plants which have higher content in Carbon dioxide and particulate matter.
Thus, it will help India to achieve the target of Paris Agreement by reducing coal power plants from the country.
