MInistry of Health: NBCC buys out stake in HSCC
NBCC to buy out the governments stake in consultancy firm HSCC for Rs. 285crore.
HSCC (Hospital Service Consultancy Corporation) is under the Ministry of Health and Family welfare provides Consultancy service in health care and another social sector in India and Abroad.
NBCC signed an agreement with Health minister to acquire Hospital services consultancy Corporation.
The ministry of health and family welfare and NBCC Ltd. Have signed the share purchase agreement on Nov 6, 2018, for transfer of 100% shareholding of HSCC to NBCC.
HSCC provide consultancy service in health care and other social sectors in India and Abroad.
The government will also transfer management control through a competitive bidding process by way of sale EPI stake to a similarly placed CPSE.
In current Government plans to raise Rs 80,000 crore through strategic sale of PSU.
So far this fiscal it has raised 9000 crores through disinvestment.
